Let Southwood Cake Studio design your next celebration cake. I offer a range of sizes to suit your needs. The prices listed below are for cakes decorated with American style buttercream and made with your choice of flavour and fillings.

If you would like a bespoke, extravagant birthday cake then get in touch. I love designing these cakes and as they are so unique it may take me a few days to envisage a design and create a quote.

In all cases please send over some inspiration pictures so I can see what kind of design you are looking for and to enable me to create an accurate quote. Please note, no cake will ever be exactly the same as your inspiration picture.
Cake Decoration
All cakes are decorated in your colours of choice with buttercream swirls/piping/drips/sprinkles to suit the design of your cake. Cardboard or acrylic toppers/ figures/flowers etc are charged as an extra. The added extras can cost anywhere from approximately £5 to £25 depending on what you desire for your cake.
My most popular birthday cakes are the tall 6 inch cakes which make a real statement at all parties and celebrations

I am more than happy to provide quotes for other styles or shapes of cake such as 2 tiered celebration cakes, bento micro mini cakes etc. and I am able to make beautiful fondant figures and accessories to compliment any cake.

Delicious moist chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream infused with dark chocolate. My most popular cake!
Lemon Cake
Lemon sponge cake layered with a subtle lemon buttercream and zingy lemon curd.
Oreo Cake
Chocolate Cake with Oreo pieces and a vanilla Oreo buttercream filling.
Vanilla Cake
Madagascan vanilla sponge cake layered with vanilla buttercream and smooth strawberry jam.
Biscoff Cake
Brown sugar sponge layered with biscoff infused buttercream and a generous layer of biscoff spread.
Chocolate and Nutella Cake
Chocolate sponge with Nutella flavoured buttercream and a generous spread of Nutella.

Cakes are generally collection only from Romiley, although in special circumstances some larger cakes can be arranged to be delivered to a venue locally for free.

​Please note: All my bakes contain gluten, eggs and dairy so are not suitable for those with allergies to these ingredients. Certain flavours will also contain nuts (e.g. hazelnuts). In all cases the cakes are made in a kitchen which uses gluten, eggs, dairy, lupin, mustard, sesame, soya, tree nuts, cereals containing gluten, celery & celeriac, sulphur dioxide, crustaceans, molluscs and potentially any other allergen. Some food colourants/sprinkles use E numbers which may cause hyperactivity in children. Some sprinkles may also contain gelatin and any number of the allergens listed above.
